The context
The site ranked well on Google, but it was almost always the home page that showed up, and AI crawlers hit an error on every visit.
What we did
- ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity crawlers unblocked: a rule in the host's firewall was turning them away
- The whole site moved to https, and the Paris practice's new address updated everywhere
- Both practices, both practitioners and 20 procedures declared to search engines and AI models, with an llms.txt file
- Server folders closed to browsing: they accounted for 157 of the 185 addresses Google was leaving out of its index
- PHP caching switched back on at the host: WordPress loads in 0.25 s instead of 1.1 s
